I truly consider it to be an honor to be trusted enough to capture memories for people. I do everything within my power to produce the best and most meaningful images that I possibly can. Perfection does not exist, but that doesn't prevent me from trying to achieve it. Below you'll see some testimonials from some of my previous clients.
- Mandy (the girl behind the lens)
The honor is all mine!
When my partner and I unexpectedly came across a young pittie living in deplorable conditions we knew we had to step in and do something to help her. We ended up fostering little Lulu and though we expected to rehome her into a foster based rescue or a loving home within 30 days or less, it was close to 90 days, and we still had no prospects. At that time, I spoke to Mandy about scheduling a shoot to capture photos that would help us show her off far better than our blurry backyard cell phone photos.
I had no idea what to expect but Mandy was patient, attentive, so incredibly kind, and has a great eye. I teared up when the photos came back (quickly as well!) and saw Lulu, in photos, all the beautiful ways I saw her in person and previously had no way of conveying to potential adopters. With Mandy’s photos we reignited interest in Lulu and within days we had scheduled multiple meet and greets with a variety of fantastic prospects and it looks like Little Lulu will be living her Happily Ever After in the new year with her forever family.
We truly could not have done it without Mandy’s help, and not only were the photos a great way to capture the attention of potential adopters, but they will make an extra special adoption gift for her new family as well. In addition to our foster we have four other dogs and she doesn’t know it yet, but she will be booking them all in for a session in the very near future! I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Mandy is one of those people who you can’t believe your luck in finding! Not only is she an extremely wonderful and caring person but she is also incredibly talented. She goes above and beyond in so many ways! From fitting us in last minute due to our senior dog taking a turn for the worst to laying down in the sand and sea to get that perfect shot! And she’s truly a dog person who knows how to connect with them and understands all the emotions that go with seeing your best friend age. They say a picture is worth a thousand words but the pictures that Mandy provides are priceless and we will cherish them and have those memories long after the time to say goodbye comes. I don’t have the vernacular to portray just how thankful we are to have worked with Mandy!
Mandy was a pleasure to work with. When we had decided it was time to let Calvin go, it was under very specific and controversial conditions. I was hesitant to reach out, but Mandy treated him and me with such kindness and grace. The photos came out beautifully and really captured his personality, which I will cherish forever.
Mandy was wonderful to work with! I am so grateful for our photography session together. She has a very calm nature about her which my dog appreciated. It takes a special person to offer end of life sessions for dogs and she is definitely a wonderful person. She was responsive and quick at getting our pictures back too. You can’t go wrong with choosing Mandy for any of your pet picture needs!
I scheduled a session with Mandy for two of my dogs knowing our time with our senior boy would be coming to an end soon. I was in awe of the photos and how well she captured their personalities. She was incredibly patient with both of my boys and now that our senior boy has passed, these pictures are even more special to me. I am so thankful that we scheduled a session with Mandy and now have these pictures to remind me every day of the amazing 15 years I had with my boy. I am so grateful for Mandy and the work that she does!
When I found out my 13 year old Duke only had 2-3 months to live, I found Mandy through End of Life group recommendations to schedule a Celebration of Life session. I didn’t know when it would be Duke’s last day with us but I had to take advantage of getting it done asap. Mandy was so flexible and was able to fill us in quickly. She was so patient, kind, and got to know our Duke. My brother & I are so blessed to have these photos to cherish for the rest of lives. Duke was photogenic through everything. Duke was my best friend and I am so glad Mandy got to meet him and get to know him. I had to let her know ahead of time that Duke was not friendly. I was nervous and she came prepared because Duke was always protective. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I am forever grateful! I totally recommend her to anyone that wants their fur babies pictures captured. Thank you for everything.
Mandy is absolutely phenomenal at photographing special moments of pets! I had the pleasure of having a shoot with my best friend Django with Mandy, and her photos of him blew me out of the water. She is so kind, patient, and professional. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my pup. I had let her know that Django isn’t dog friendly and she gave me a list of places she would recommend for him. She also came prepared (as i didn’t) and had a bag of treats and toy. I would recommend her to every single person that wants to get portraits of their fur babies!!
Mandy is wonderful to work with. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone with a furry best friend. Her pictures are worth it.
It was only a year ago that I reached out to Mandy asking to do a celebration of life for my three seniors: Indie, Zero and Haley. Unbeknownst to us, Indie would pass away just four days later. Recently Zero passed away as well, in September. I am so grateful that Mandy was able to capture the memory of my dogs while they were still here, because we never know how much time we have with them.
It so happened that as Zero was passing Haley was simultaneously diagnosed with osteosarcoma and underwent an amputation of her front leg. She is about to begin chemotherapy, just ahead of her 14th birthday. I thought to reach out to Mandy again to memorialize Haley and her time with this unexpected battle. I must say that Mandy had her work cut out for her the day of the shoot, as Haley has no idea she's missing a limb or should be sick, and therefore speedily bunny hopped through the fall leaves throughout the session. Her new 12-year-old deaf-blind sidekick, Megan, came along for support and to haphazardly join in the animated antics. Yet, Mandy is so patient and gifted with her camera, that both the experience and photos will be treasures that I hold dear for years to come!
We could not be more thankful for our session with Mandy! She was kind, patient and worked magic on our dogs who were all over the place during the shoot. She was able to capture both of our dog’s personalities that we now have forever to cherish!
When I reached out to Mandy to schedule an end-of-life session I had no idea it would be Ty’s last day with us. When we woke up, the day of the shoot he was no longer able to walk so we knew it was time. Mandy couldn’t have been kinder and we’re so blessed to have these photos. Even though the day was heartbreaking, Mandy caught his essence beautifully. Our family is so grateful to have these photos. Ty was so special and this session was such a kind gift. We are forever grateful.
Mandy came out for a surprise photo shoot for my horse Sierra and I. My girl Sierra means everything to me and the photos she took are incredible ❤ thank you for giving me the beautiful photos to look at after I say goodbye to my girl. I cant say enough good things about Mandy's talent in photography as well as her compassion for doing this for pet owners when we need it most ❤ thank you so much for this!
This session is one I will never forget. Mandy is an amazing photographer and human being. She really takes the time to learn about your pet and will travel to their favorite places. During the session she is gentle and kind, she's patient and will wait to get an amazing shot. Our session was at the ocean. Mandy was laying on the shore so focused on getting the perfect picture of my girl she didn't realize the tide was coming in and got a bit wet. My girl is in kidney failure and will be 14 years old.
Mandy has a heart of gold. She provides the most selfless service of capturing such sweet moments of senior pets. I can’t recommend Mandy enough.
Mandy is amazing! She did a photo shoot with my Olde English Bulldog, Georgia. The photos came out perfect and they captured the love and bond between me and my dog...Priceless. Mandy was kind and patient, giving my people reactive dog the space she needed during the shoot to feel comfortable. I highly recommend her!
Mandy met with me, not once but twice to capture images of my 14 year old Shih Tzu who was nearing his time. The first session was done on short notice in my home. The pictures were beautiful but Meiko was having a bad day. The second session we met at the beach, the sun was shining, the sky was blue and he was one happy guy, sniffing the air and strutting around. He passed away a month later and the photos will always bring me back to that perfect day and the bond that he and I will always share.
